Why do the manufacturers charge more for a table motor cable than a sweep motor cable? Just Your Curious Felix. The new table motor cable 070 007 751 has only three wires compared to the sweep motor cables 5. HIGH LOW PRICES
Table motor cable(070 007 751)$167.12-$117.03
Sweep motor cable(070 005 542)$116.24-$87.18
Would like to get my hands on the original female plug(000 027 660) for less$$$($66.49-$59.84). You can get NAPA trailer wire(5) for less than a buck a foot.
When replacing the Table Motor Cable,070-005-543, on older 82-70 machines with the new 070-007-751, Table Motor Cable, you will find the new cable has only three wires. The old cable had five.
When using the new cable, connections are made: the Black Wire goes to TS-22, Green Wire to TS-20, and White Wire to TS-1A1. No connections are made to TS-13 with the new cable.

Re: Table/Sweep/MTR.Cable Assy.

If I remember correctly, the last time I had to buy a table/sweep mtr plug, I got it from JCP, and it was only about $30. Not long after that, we bought more machines, and I got a couple more spares.

If you're going to keep a spare table/sweep mtr. cable assembly around, just get the plug (not the whole cable). Wire it with about 4 feet of SJO 14-5G type wire (Oil-resistant neoprene cable, 14 gauge, 5 cond. w/ ground if you're not sure what that is). 4' of wire will run $5-6, and figure $25-30 for the plug from surplus or a liquidator. If you set it up for a sweep, it can be used in either position without changing any of the connections... just omit the wires not used in the table position, or use 'em all for the sweep.

Kind of reminds me of the C-1 plastic blocks.
