Re: bin broke

I don't doubt ANYTHING I hear about strange foulups and explosions with these demons...

In 13 years at this, I never had a table shaft break, until we started talking about it in a forum, and the next day, one snapped off right at the side of the batman cam...

Batman cam??? The batman cam is on the table itself. The table shaft is in the front end.

Any time I've ever seem a table shaft break they
break at the shuttle cam. In answer to the original question the table may have spotted wood on wood thus causing a jam in the table, check all your cell wires.

Ah, the old respot cell wires. I don't miss those at all. If you still have them, shot has it right. Check to make sure all those little suckers are on.
Give me a hammer and some duct tape and I can fix it!

Re: bin broke

Shame on any center that still needs the respot cell wires. If you still do, you need to trash those 5 boards. Getting rid of those wires, just eliminates alot of headaches. If I had 1 chassis problem in the last 10 months, thats alot. The only set ups I get is an occasional out of range, and the stupid bowlers screwing up.

Yes, the Batman Cams are a trademark in my center, LOL! It just makes things so easy when training new guys. Just tell 'em "see that batman looking thing here..."

So, when I joined Bowl-Tech, I mentioned it in one of my posts/replies. I'm glad the name has taken off.

We have alot of off-the-wall names for parts in our center.

"Kidney"
"Zig-Zag Link" or "Lightning Rod"

Everyone know these? Any others?

We call the sweep telescoping link a "plunger".
The plastic rod on the distrbutor (connecting the carriage to the boomerang) is called "the eyeglasses" in our place.
Then, theres the famous "hula-hoop", obvious for a ring weldment.

There's more, I'll post after a few other guys have posted theirs.

Good name for your boomerangs. Here, we refer to the boomerang being the linear cam follower for the distributor. I like the table boomerangs too. In my place maybe we'll call them mini-boomerangs.

What about a pillow pin?
I put a pin between my neck and pindeck if I'm adjusting the respot cels, I have enough problems with other stiff things(I use another pillow then).

Question: what is the difference between the 9 switch and the g switch. Allways nice to look early in the morning at the bad handwriting of the evening mechanic.
No problems anymore with that, got rid of the gps switch.

Fingers
So it goes.

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....
