King: I dont think anything could have beaten our (KAT's and Mine) Sure-Stucks. We made them look super good!! We were glad that they made different color duct tape. One time we speed one up because it wouldnt bring up a 6lb ball. Well we turned it on and it shot out over the island. HAHAHA..I was in stitches.

He's painting them "Power Lift White" in hopes to revive them. :p

Jerry: Does this mean in addition to all of the stuff that CUJO mentioned you need to do, are you also painting the eighty something springs inside of that hunk of junk? Not to mention re-attatching the rubber on the island bumper that likes to compress and swell. Seriously, good luck and do post some pics in the gallery.

Deadwood: Half the house when we had Sure-Stiks were dubbed Mummy-Piks due to all of the tape needed to hold the "sturdy" trays together.
For designer touch, we used different color duct tape.
This included Mod IV Red tape
Cosmic Blue tape
Metallic Gray (personal favorite)

I will see if I can dig up some old pictures of our Sure-Stiks and post them so you guys can have a good laugh.

We have all new island bumpers.

I think Stahl's rebuilds them.

I am painting the tray surround a very light grey.

I am painting the hoods dark grey.

Cleaning all the rails with scotchbrite pad.

All rails are firmly secured with lock nuts.

They will be sweet.

Long, long ago, when AMF came out with Concept 90 stuff, we (my proprietor) upgraded our Mod V Sure-as-sh_ _ts with c-90 hoods and racks. This enabled everyone to observe the rapid deterioration of the equipment under a different skin. [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif[/img]

JERRY, how are you painting your sure stucks!
you using a paint brush & roller :p LMAO
I have seen a few houses that painted them a long time ago and after about 6 month's the paint started coming off

then they really looked like junk. CUJO

Those are pretty Pik's!

Don't you love how the shape of the Sure-Pik and the shape of the Magic Console go together perfectly...
Same with Spectrum/Accu stuff.
AMF was good at that.

We just tore out 24 lanes of blue Sure-Piks and MagicScore. I shed a tear but was glad at the same time because it was all replaced with all new Vantage stuff.

Felix,

I have 4 spare hoods painted Mod 4 red.......they are in pristine condition.....original paint and the Sure Pik emblems unbroken if you need a spare.

My seats are the same beautiful red.

While warehousing SurePik hoods for me how about saving mask lamp holders & while changing to humpy's save all PBL parts. That should get me by another 23 years.
