my ball returns have a seperate switch and power to turn on and off. how can i wire so that my sure piks turn on with machine? I have 8270's with auto scoring (steltronics. can i use recepticle that the pin deck lights are plugged into? any info would be helpful

Might be a gray NEMA box, and in installations where there was enough wire, it would be mounted on the curtain wall. It has cables going into one opening from the APPROACH, wires from the black junction box (MANAGERS CONTROL) into another, and two cables coming out, one to each pinspotter at their respective A&MC plug. This plug is on the side of the front cross beam on older machines (A's, B's, ELCO's), and in the front of the machine near the ball exit side on later machines (C23 & MP).
Since ya got autoscoring there I'll describe it as ours looks. Little box on the curtain wall with wires all the heck over the place lol

It sounds like he might have a bit of a bigger job than that... I saw a house like that once. They removed all the control circuits, and hardwired the motor and blower to power, controlled by a set of switches (1 for each return). If that's the case, it's gonna be a bit of work.
