  • Daily Stop Sheet

Hey guys, I need your help! I have just been asked to be the head tech for both of our centers. I know Brunswick but our other center is AMF pinspotters. Right now I would like to have a daily stop sheet for AMF. The people there are not using anything now to track lane calls. I want to get a handle on where our problems are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Daily Stop Sheet

There is an AMF version of the stop tracking program here on the site, the list is ~fairly~ complete, but as I too am a "B" type of guy, the list was second-hand from a few of the AMF techs on this site:

      Re: Daily Stop Sheet

Anchorman, what we use for our calls is simply a big 5 subject notebook. We write any calls we get in there for leagues or tournaments as well as any work we do to the machines. Then we also have a small binder for each individual lane, we copy the calls into that and in the back of em we have a "Work done" section that we list any and all work done to our machines. Pretty simple system but it seems to work well for us. Hope this helps.

Go into Excell and customise your own stop sheet.

Make sure you have dist, ball, respot, off spot, and a comments column.

It's just a troubleshooting guide for the A and B mechs. Your nuisance call will all be isolated so you can foresee oncoming problems.

Stay at your center for your fall leauge startup. Be at the center when the machines are running. Moniter the calls yourself for the first week.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That would work except that my home center is short on people. Actually, both places are short of experienced personel. The AMF house has 2 pinchasers with about 6 months experience. I have 2 other people at my center, one of whom is in the National Guard. He is gone for 1 weekend a month plus he goes to college so the hours he has available are limited. I have been trying to hire someone but most everyone wants to work the bar because of the tips. Why would you want to work the machines when you can work the bar for the same money plus pull down $100 to $200 a night in tips?

Thanks to all for the help. I think I have an idea where to start for a maintainence schedule and a call sheet. This is just to have to be a work in progress. Luckily, the owner doesn't expect miracles.

Ed, the only thing Brunswicks pinsetters have over AMF pinspotters is

you get twice as much money for scrap metal.
