  • safety switch

After this tragic accident, I realize that my inovation may be plausible. It saved my middle finger from severe damage or maybe just saved it.
I work for BRC and a 12 lane independent 8270 house.
I used to work for 24 lane 8270 house and installed these simple switches on the BE mtr's. They serve to shut off the BE mtr. when there is a turn pan pile up avoiding broken klixon's, bent drive shafts and so on. And as I found out about a year ago when clearing rolling pins by the plow, got my hand too close to the rear roller and sucked in my finger so by reaching up and hitting the switch, saved serious injury since I could not reach the control box. These switches are very cheap and easy to install. If you are interested, contact me or email me. I live near Stahl's. Bill Bockmann
Yeah but, We've always done it that way.
