    Curtains

    Who makes a heavy duty curtain?

    2 or 3 of mine have torn when doing the Masternut mod.

    I do not like the pins stuck in the corner.

      If you have an "old-school" shoe store that still does repairs, you can fix slightly torn curtains, or unraveling seams... the sole-sewing machines have a needle tough enough to punch through several layers of curtain material.

      I had some of ours reinforced, and they've outlived new ones... we had a few that were getting a bit ragged at the edges, but were solid otherwise... I had a 3" strip of carpet sewn to the back of them down the edges... No pins in the corners, and they show no signs of wearing out. I also had some hanger seams restitched, with the same effect. I think it cost us around $25 to have 6-7 curtains fixed... it was well worth it.

        what has worked for me

        or, cut an old carpet to curtain dimensions.

        or, talk to Charlie and buy something new.
