I'd say your machine has a split personality.

I'd replace that pin ejector spring if I were you.

I've run into a couple small plows that needed a bit of TLC, but not one of the large ones yet. I hope you know how to weld. If not, great time to learn.

Couple minutes with the 'ole MIG welder, and it'll be good as new.

And investing in a camera tripod probably wouldn't hurt either...

tell me this, how old are your machines? ours just started their 21st year and they look 10x better. hardly any scratches at all. i plan on taking the cam to work some time and taking pics for you guys. i guess we just keep our machines in top notch condition. it almost pains me to see your machines lookin like that.

Re: Whats wrong with this picture?

Any one of these machines with the original paint and no dings/scratches means either they're installed in a house that gets less than 5 lines a week on 'em, they haven't been properly beaten into shape, they ain't been out of the crates yet, or the backend help has far too much freakin time on their hands.

It's a machine that seems to be part alive, and with a nasty attitude... I beat the snot out of them once in a while just so they remember who the boss is. Keep telling them that they could just as easily be ground up and recast into soup cans, and they remember their manners better. Scratches? If mine could talk, they'd be telling you about the DENTS they got for acting up.
