One of the ends of the belt on #1 ripped out tonight.....5 frames into the 1st shift womens league
I drilled new holes in the belt and wire tied the 2 belt ends together.
The lane completed the league without another problem

Heck... we run those green belts on our '70s. The only thing you have to do is take the tensioner off... it bends the belt backwards and breaks the clip. For some reason, the greenies will run without the tensioner just as well as a regular belt runs with it.
Makes it easier to change belts, too...

Ah Yes, Aligator clips. Many 82-30's have them. Do they still sell them? I wish AMF would have made a spliced belt for the 82-70 from the beginning. I hate having to unbolt the distributor just to get the pinwheel belt on and off.

Can somebody give an explaniton how pins 2, 3, 6 are supposed to be connected. I had a shortcircuit there for the drive motor connection because of water leakage.
I have a distributor that is pulling the belt hard to the left in the nine pin position (and possibly 6 pin), but seems fine in the other spots. As you can see the residue and...
I have several Pin Elevators that I believe to be out of round on my XLi's and was curious if anyone has ever run across this before and is so, what you did about it.
