  • Table drive problems

I had a little problem this weekend that I thought i might share with you.

The table drive latch kept slipping out during the respot cycle. So i replaced the table drive, no big deal. Well, the new table drive latch was getting stuck, then after a little lubrication it started slipping while respotting.

I thought that i had gone crazy. then i started to remember how king always tells people to check the roll pins in the latch. both "rebuilt" table drives had broken roll pins. until that day i had never looked at the roll pins. now that will be one of the things on my check list.

    Re: Table drive problems

Most table drive problems are either the broken roll pin or too much grease and the latch will stay engaged due to suction from the excess grease.
Pinspotters do not break down when they are not running!
