    sweep problem

    I have a problem with lane 5's sweep at my place. The 7ps sweep linkage actually hits the 7 cell respot lever on sweep run-thru on second ball, forcing the cells closed a bit before it goes to spot pins again. It hasn't been a problem yet, but I'd like to stop it from happening. What would be the best way to shim the sweep over and away from that side of the table? BTW, the cell stud is not bent and the wireway, etc. is in fine shape. Thanks for your help!

    I had that problem myself and i never could figure it out. What i finally found was that the sweep was not even across the lane. One side futher back than the other also i checked my table and it got shfted a bit to the seven side so i had to reset my table and sweep and fixed the problem.... hope this helps you

      THE FIRST THING I WOULD LOOK AT, IS THE TABLE FLAGGED PROPERLY TO THE PIN DECK. THE SECOND THING AND I'M GOING TO CHECK TOMOROW, IN THINK THAT THE SADDLES, WHERE THE U BOLTS GO THROUGH THAT THE SWEEP PIVOTS SIT IN ARE TWO DIFFERENT SIZES. THEY MAY BE REVERSED.
