Here is a new one for me. We have the old table assy and the link to the repot rod is not a throtle linkage it is a flat peice of steel. But what is happening on lane 8 is:
When the respot cells close the link wireway (070002 766) is running into the link respot connector (070002 671)and not allowing the respot cells to close far enough to lock. Everything is in adjustment and I am at a loss. Any ideas the 7 pin cell is in the adjustment also. We have the link assemblys (070002 814) everywhere but where the whole assembly connects to the rear drive link 070002 582).
i don't have a part book in front of me so i'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. but, the 3 things that i know that will cause the cells not to lock are the shifter stop bolt adjustment, pawl distance, and if the 2" adjustment on one of the cells is way too tight it will drop pins. i've had that last one get me a couple times.
OK you know the wireway rail that runs next paralelle to the 1,3,6,10 cells? That rail is hitting the respot link rail and not allowing the cells to close far enough to lock.
I hope this helps this is an easy one to see but a hard one to write about. Thanks for the help
Not only are they touching on that side it is bottoming out before the cells can lock. Sooooooo to avoid this from happening I have had to make some creative adjustments to the individual cells. there must be something that I can do to adjust this travel so that the cells can lock. Ya know
Pat, has anyone changed a main stud out on that side recently? check to see if the levers on the #1,3,6,10 main studs are on in reverse i beleive there is a long end and a short end if they are reversed or in the wrong spot it could cause a shorter travel in your wireways not letting the fingers close up
you might find that the wire-way is catching on a re-spot cell at some point during re-spot.
This can be sorted by bending up the wireways to stop it from catching.( Firstly ensure all re-spot cells are secured to the table with all 3 allen key screws.)
Main cause of this is usually when extra pins go through the shuttle and cause a table jam, which can bend the wireways.
Also check for a bent rod in the wire way assembly itself. This can lock up the wire way, and stop it from locking.
Finally make sure that the bell crank stop is in tacked and doesn't have any cracks in it. If the small bit of plastic is cracked then this will cause the fingers not to lock.
Hope this is of some relevance.

NEVER SEEN THIS ONE BEFORE, CHECK YOUR LEVERS ARE ON THE RIGHT WAY (SHORT END OF LEVER ON RESPOT CONNECTOR 070002671). I HAVE DONE WHAT JIMMY JAM SAID "PUT THE RESPOT CONNECTOR 070002671 UNDER THE LEVERS 070007623" THIS WOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM (I THINK )
GOOD LUCK

there is a bracket with a spring next to your shifter link check to see if the spring is connected on both ends and then see if your bracket is bent or loose i had this happen to me this spring helps your respot cells to lock and the other thing i would check and it was stated before is your shifter links stop bolt adjustment and check for any bent pivot studs on your respot cells and your respot levers.

Is this whole connector needed or should only the 1 to 3 be enough??
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
