Foul lights, Auto score, and more?

In our 10 lane center we have Radaray 82-8 foul lights... and we're starting to have problems with them, anybody know if you can find spare boxes/front electronics around? Also... does anybody know if you can get autoscore with overlane returns(as in, cameras, I hate table wires, but have never seen a center with overlane returns that has autoscore...

What about Magi-SCore or what ever its called isnt that set up within the kickbacks and uses no camera on the capping?

They make a hoop set up the camera sits on and the ball rolls under.

King called it, I've seen it before with AccuScore. I'll see if I can find pics of it, I'm with Androooo I think I've seen pics around somewhere

Good luck on the 8208's... I haven't seen parts for them for a long time. Weight the cost of finding parts and beating them back to life vs. the cost of replacing them slowly, one at a time, as your 8208s fail... then use the good parts from the ones you pull out to make the others work. It'll allow you to make a nice, gradual transition to newer units without a big money and time outlay all up front.

There's lots of affordable foul replacements / retrofits out there... JoystickScoring has the Redline, Zot sells a decent one, Qubica has one now... I think even VanTech makes one.

Zot or Bowltronics makes a SS conversion for your 82/08.....this is what you want with overlane returns......just replace the rear control box.....put some reflectors ect. up front....no running wires :p

Heh, autoscore is just a dream -have no say in the matter, personally I think it would just be more headaches, but I think it would be cool to not have those ugly boxes on the returns... the only good side is getting rid of those darned table wires!!! (anyone have good/bad/ugly sides to autoscore?)

Yeah on a downside to Auto scoring is that our cameras determine X cycle etc and if the camera is out of calibration slightly (which i personally dont like the way ours calibrates) we get lots of false X's spotting on pins,,,, real pain in the arse actually. Even happens if we re-calibrate and change cam etc etc etc
