    dead short in 82/70 ss chassie

    i have a chassie that is blowing the f1 fuse when you turn mach on. i put a new t1 transformer in it but still blows fuse.but what is weird is that the backend moter stays on .this is the 2nd cassie in 2 weeks that been a pain.agian this fuse blows as soon as the mach is turned on .

    Check your heat sink assy under the t- 1 ,the diodes can be checked with a continuity tester the outer ones will only read one way but not with the leads reversed, the middle one will read the opposite way. This is a good place to start.
