Re: mp chassie
You did not mention whether or not you've swapped MP boards. I would check that first if not done already.
Next, make sure that the Program Zero pushbutton is actually good. Take a meter reading across the contact points to verify.
If the MP boars is known working, put MP Chassis back onto the pinsetter. When you power it up, press the Stepper button on the BE control box instead of using the PBZ. It will accomplish the same thing as PBZ.
It sounds like your MP will not come out of a Manual Intervention state. You also mentioned that the MP baors has lights. OK, this is probably a 9860 series board made by CT. There should be a jumper on that board (I'm at home and don't have the sheets) to disable Manual Interventions. You could also try that first to see.
Sorry to ramble...
In closing check:
-Jumper for Manual Intervention on 9860
-Bad PBZ on the MP
-Swap 9860s.
Let us know what else you've done and the results."Where are we going, and why are we in a hand basket?"

4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
