  • NAT'L COMBO MOTORS/SS

This is for NATIONAL, and LEESON COMBO MOTORS. Is there any way of wiring a standard 120volt relay into the motor starting circuit instead of using a start switch, or solid state start switch? In my center we currently have the orange AMF solid state ss, Quality, and a "black box" that has a relay and contact that is mounted inside the motor top. One by one these are failing, we have more of the orange ones on order, but no spares at the moment. And for 50 lanes I have one spare combo motor I can use 'till they come in. Any suggestions on ways to get these combo motors running for now- wiring-relays-whatever. Any info is much appreciated.

I have been talking this over with one of my mechanics, he has many years experience, but he was no help. Someone out there has to know if this is possible. Please help me out. Thanks.

Stahls is selling it, I don't have any experience with it, I still like the good old CS's.
