Any Suggestions on how to keep the nylon roller on the rocker assy in line with the trip rod assy especially on the 9 pin? Tryed the shims behind the brkt trip [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif[/img] Just makes the stop fork hang up on the clutch plate assy [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img] Extra washer behind pinion gear??? without losing timing and alignment on cam indexer.???? [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img] [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img] [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img] Have one spare Dist assy but this is happening on 2 lanes,one odd, one even. Depends on what kind of roller assembly is on your distributors, either the never style 'D-Plate', or the older style 'L-bracket'.
D-Plates can be adjusted easily... Forgive me for this one, as I'm usually not one for 'rigging', but this is tried and true: bend the d-plate a bit. For some reason, they just don't track properly on the trip rail, and giving them a little bend at the top puts them right on track.
The older-style L-brackets are too flimsy (IMHO), and wind up getting bent on their own... we've replaced just about all of ours with the new style assembly, adjusted them with a little bend in and down, and they run fine.<span style="font-style: italic">Educatio est omnium efficacissima forma rebellionis</span>
