Re: machine not spotting

Isolate and trace by doing:

a) Verify Spot relay in Chassis is good. (I know you swapped chassis, but did you bring over the same relays)

b) C1 connection

c) Broken wire on terminal strip in wireway.

d) Bad SJO cord running to Spot Solenoid.

e) Bad SB cam micro (fires spot relay at 186 degrees)

f) Bad BE CB.

a) Verify Spot relay in Chassis is good. (I know you swapped chassis, but did you bring over the same relays)

replaced whole chassis off of another working machine, NO GO

b) C1 connection

Replaced every bad connection that I could see, NO Go

c) Broken wire on terminal strip in wireway.

Checked every wire that I could see even checked it with the ohm meter, NO Go

d) Bad SJO cord running to Spot Solenoid.

That wire is good all the way to the terminal strip

e) Bad SB cam micro (fires spot relay at 186 degrees)

Just changed it still dont work

f) Bad BE CB.

Dont know what this really is.

Any other help would be appreciated got a full house league coming in about 2 hours the mechanic is go to spot them by hand. plugging two female adapters on a zip cord and then plugging it into 110 when needing to spot

BE CB= BackEnd Control Box Circuit Breaker.

Re: machine not spotting

On your backend control box (where all the switches and crap is) on the far left hand side, the is a Circuit Breaker labeled "MASTER CB". There should be 4 12-14 gauge wires coming from it. Change this. This has been known to cause problems like you're describing. From the Circuit breaker, it goes to a terminal strip, then another strip in the wireway where it lands on TSA-1A1 and a jumper is jumper over to TS-17 I believe.

Anyways, change that Master CB and let me know.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">OK, now that you got it fixed, take the defective unit and place in bench vise.

Now crush unit to pieces. Throw pieces in separate trash cans. This will prevent pinchasers from putting bad parts back into stock. (Like mine do)

You can loop the wires from C and D on the CB switch if you do not have a spare, and this will supply the circuit for the spotting thro TS 3 and 17. 17 is from the switch enables the cpower side.this way if you want to test a cb switch for a spotting fault.turn off disconnect C and D and join together. turn on , cycle to spot and off she goes.
Best wishes.
