    Can anybody post a sample of there trouble call sheets. Need some new ideas for mine.

    Ours would be boring... it's just a 300-page spiral-bound notebook, backed up by myself and the owner threatening the pinchasers with physical injury if they don't write problems down when they happen.

    I like the notebook because it keeps all the trouble calls in one neat pile all by itself, and it's easy to look back and see if there's a recurring problem.

    Our nightly trouble sheet would look something like this:

    3PM-7PM League

    <u>Lane 10</u> - Pin Jam @ 3 pin, 2x
    <u>Lane 4</u> - Offspot pin
    <u>Lane 18</u> - Ball jam, pin out door
    <u>Lane 2</u> - Pit light went out, replaced.
    <u>Lane 7</u> - Bowler request, spot #7 pin.

    7PM-11PM Open Play

    <u>Lane 27</u> - Bowler hit sweep, checked, no damage found.
    <u>Lane 8</u> - Offspot pin
    <u>Lane 13/14</u> - Scoring misreading, adjusted rear IR det., worked OK rest of night.

    ** Parts came in earlier, unpacked &amp; put away.
    ** Dist. Pans 1-30 cleaned

    As long as they're writing down the what, where, and when in handwriting clear enough for me to read it, I'm happy.

      CALL SHEET:
      8 1/2" X 17" SHEET OF PAPER PER DAY.

      IT HAS 1-20 DOWN THE SIDE MARGIN.
      STOPS ARE WRITTEN IN THE MIDDLE COLUMN. ANY STOPS THAT OCCUR MORE THAN ONCE HAVE A CHECK MARK NEXT TO THEM. WE USE 5 DIFFERENT COLOR HIGHLIGHTER MARKERS TO INDICATE WHICH PART OF THE DAY THAT THE STOP OCCURED. REPAIRS/ADJUSTMENTS ARE WRITTEN AND INITIALED IN THE RIGHT COLUMN.

      AT THE END OF THE MONTH, I TAKE THE CALL SHEETS HOME AND RUN THEM THROUGH THE KL KEVIN STOP PROGRAM THAT I MODIFIED TO USE WITH OUR 8230s. I TYPE A SUMMARY REPORT AND SUBMIT IT TO THE HEAD MECHANIC AND THE OWNER.

        Very similar to all the above, but we have it in this order,
        Lane, Time on, Time Off, Description of fault, Pile up or Pin trapped in table position, Mechanics initial.

        We decided to record position of all pile up and pins trapped in tables to give us a better idea where to look. You may only have 1 pile up at the 10 pin on lane 12 a week. But if you go back over 8 week you may see a pattern.

        All the days calls are trasnferred onto a monthly snagging list. So you can see faults before they become a real pain.

          our trouble sheets last one month.

          one section for trouble calls including frame number

          one section for work done including frame number

          one section for pins respotted.

          one section for machine notes or work to be done

          one section includes a list of major assemblies and sub assemblies that are to be checked over and crossed off during the month.
