Have lost second ball pindication light on masking unit.
The clixon blows on the front of the chassis when it is reset the second ball light no longer lights up and scoring wont regester a second ball score..
I am running 6525 type chassis on 82-30 with omege-tec conversion board.
have tryed swapping boards and lanes and the fault remains inside the chassis.
I now have two spare chassis from different lanes with this fault.when those chassis were swapped with spares the lanes continued to score and had a second ball light .
I know second ball score is done through the chassis as the scoring needs to know if it has to regester a second ball score how is this done .
We are running an advantge scoring system.

The 2nd ball and strike lights work off the PR4 contacts (not sure excatly which ones), so you can check all those and make sure none are off or crossing over making the Klixon kick out. More likely to kick out the Klixon would be a problem with the T1 transformer (big one on the left) so if you have a spare chassis, try swapping it out and see what happens. I'm not at the shop to make sure, but I believe that the light circuits go through J 32 (1st ball), J 33 (2nd ball) and J 34 (strike) so you could check those and make sure none are crossed over creating problems. Whatever you find, let us know what fixes your problem so wee all can benefit from it. Good luck.
Well, it sounds to me like you have a bad sw6 switchette somewhere on your table on the pindication level. If your not getting proper operation of any of the switchettes, it could be causing a short and blowing the klixon. Once the klixon is blown you won't get a 2nd ball light and hence no 2nd ball score. Try seeing if you hear the click on each of the switchettes. If they all click ok your gonna need to get your ohm meter and make sure you get reading of zero and then a reading for the no and nc contacts on the switch.

BTL correct on the J-box connections.
PR4 connections are 2nd Ball 6/8, Strike 6/4.
Other possible cause Ground between T-1 Sec and stepper/MK-30 board.
Can somebody give an explaniton how pins 2, 3, 6 are supposed to be connected. I had a shortcircuit there for the drive motor connection because of water leakage.
I have a distributor that is pulling the belt hard to the left in the nine pin position (and possibly 6 pin), but seems fine in the other spots. As you can see the residue and...
I have several Pin Elevators that I believe to be out of round on my XLi's and was curious if anyone has ever run across this before and is so, what you did about it.
