• PBL Belts

Have PBL's and was wondering what the best cleaner is to clean the belt with?
ALso does anyone use the new "Supper Gripper" belt made by Lifelong engineering? (the people who make the humpback) Looking for some feedback on the belt as considering changing over to them.

Re: PBL Belts

I clean my belts by spryaing them with lane cleaner out of a spray bottle in the same dilution I use to strip the lanes and hold a clean shop rag on them until dry.

so do I 82/70. We also use lane stripper in its diluted form, every day on the belts. Wondering if this is good for the belt, as possibly reduce the life of it, as eating into the belt?
Using grey belts from complete lesuire just now.
Have had blue belts from AMF? and took them off straight away as utter rubbish. Couldnt lift a daisy.

Re: PBL Belts

I think the blue belts were Vantage super grips. They never lifted a thing for me either. AMFs belts are black. I use a soft grey belt now that I get from Newells Bowling Supply. I think it might be a Quality belt.
I do the same thing King does to clean my belts....lane cleaner same strength as I use on the lanes. So far I see not belt seperation or pitting.

Yes, the black belt from AMF is a great product. Totally sound belt, no problems there.
Blue belt was made from vantage, not so good, but the new grey belt is holding up well.

The new "Supper Gripper" belt that I am looking for feed-back off is advertised in this months edition of "Bowlers Industry" towards the back of the magazine.
