Our distribs. tend to (once in a while on every machine, common on others) lay the 7&10 pins in the bin somewhat sideways, (as in the head of the pin lays over the 7 or 10 pin bin divider) and when that happens.... that seems like the ONLY time we have double shuttling problems... Is that the same with everyone else? If so... what can be done to the distributor to reduce this? Does distrib. height have anything to do with this, or the eccentric bearing positions, or any other adjustments? Anything else you've come across that has worked? Any advice would be appreciated! This is really turning out to be a headache for us.

If you’ve centered your dist so that both the 7 & 10 lay crooked equally & it still happens more often than not, there are a couple of things you can try. Dist height does play a part but I haven’t been able to determine a consistent spec for it other than aligning the top edge of the carriage support casting to the top of the bin. Tho, this has little to do with your problem.
The one thing I do suggest that you try is putting a washer between the safety link rod end and the lateral drive arm casting. This will exaggerate the side-to-side travel of the dist. I have a couple machines modified this way & it seems to be working out with no adverse effects.
