just wanted to know how many have had this problem and how yall delt with it? on the concept 90 ball returns the power lift boxes pc boards seem to have a problem i had 2 burn up in the c-3 area of the board and this was on 2 differnt pairs of lanes since our warrenty is up we are now having to buy new boards as they burn up! the new boards are modified so my guess is there is a problem with the original boards. any one else have this problem yet?

Before I left the Hilton, we had LOTS of them burn up. After returning them to "V" & not getting anything significantly better, I started modifying them myself. That was 2 ½ yrs ago. I’m told that the newer boxes are better than the old ones but they still fry.

The most permanent solution I have for you is to purchase the real thing from AMF. They may cost more but it’s worth it to avoid the headache. Where I work now we have AMF C-90’s & I haven’t had to replace or repair a single one. You’ll probably have to mount them differently than the V-boxes (I’ve never tried) but they wire up exactly the same.
