I am looking for a place Where i can get parts for national backend motors ie: rotor shaft, fan.
i have a couple of motors that the shaft broke on them amf says that they have been discontinued you have to buy the whole motor. I need them for both left and right hand motors. willhill24@ec.rr.com

We bought some parts for them out of JCP a while back... Not sure if they carry them anymore.

You may also want to check with a bowling supply that deals in used equipment... sometimes they get motors with bad shafts/rotors and good stators (or vice versa), and they're willing to sell them off as parts units.

You can get the shafts from Stahl's or Vantage.

I perfer the Vantage ones because the keyway has the half moon stop. Stahl's keyways form a taper all the way to bearing shoulder. This causes the key to slip out very easily; especially since I use anti-sieze on all my National Shafts.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">FYI, JCP DOES AN EXCHANGE ON ROTORS, SEND YOUR ROTOR WITH BAD SHAFT TO THEM AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE SHAFT. AS FOR THE FANS NO ONE SELLS THEM TO MY KNOWLEDGE. BE GENTLE WITH THEM. I KNOW I AHEV HAD TO DO SOME METAL WORK WITH SOME IN THE PAST IN ORDER TO MAKE THEM WORK AGAIN.
