• New combo motor capacitors

I just completed changing out all our capacitors.

The new caps do not have the proper threaded screw hole.

The screw adaptor on the new caps is not a good fit.

If you try to utilize the push on connector the wire length on some connectors is not long enough.

I rewired all the caps wiring that needed it so I could change one in an emergency quickly.

I used yellow #12 female connectors and twisted the wires inside before crimping.

You could do a pair of lanes at a time and save some of your old capacitors for spares on lanes not converted.

They are what you get when you order caps.

Just imagine a male spade out of the end of a cap instead of a screw hole.

Why do you need to change all your caps? Just wondering.

Nice pics king. I am going to try and post one this weekend of a really odd looking call we had.

And I knew what the problems was instantly! Belive it or not.

I changed them all due to 30 years of use.

They all now have the push on terminals.

They seem to work OK but I don't much care for them. Just getting old and set in my ways I guess.

*sigh* Hello friends..

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

Thanks...
