• Fun with ball lifts

I have the Vantage rip-off of the AMF C-90 (which is rip-off of Brunswick). Does anyone know a part number for the bolts that hold the "C" tracks in? Even the bolt size so I could go get some without pulling one would be helpful. Thanks

Smokey,
I think they are 1/4 inch, It's been a while since I changed c tracks at the hilton. Ask Barry or Jonny they may know.

That's funny.
Do you guys at Vantage have masks and guns?

What do other bowling manufacturers charge for said screw?

I could've merely provided the part number, but I thought I'd give Smokey the opportunity to find it for less locally.
Can you?

Re: Fun with ball lifts

Can I find it for less locally,

Firstly, I haven't seen the inside of the Vantage ball lift, but I find it hard to believe that the C Tracks are held to the frame with 5/16" x 2 1/4" bolts.

Secondly, I doubt that you need stainless anywhere on the ball lift. A grade 8 Cad would be more then sufficient.

Thirdly, for the size your talking about, at a fastener supply store I would have to pay $17 to $18 for a box of 100.

I hope you aren't the one who has to count to 10 then seal the bag.

Thank God for Ebonite!

Stalker:

You come off as quite condescending. Since when do you have a bone to pick with me? What did I do to you?

Do you think I'm making things up? Where did you get stainless? What's the matter with you?

The guy asked a question, I looked up a BOM for a ball lift and answered him. For this you seem to be trying to catch me in some sort of trick or lie?

I'm not sure what your motivation is but I suggest you knock it off.

Chad, I don't have a bone to pick with you, if I did I could go back to your Monte Carlo days.

I had an issue with Vantage and they tried to blow me off.

I had to go over their head to Ebonite and get it taken care of. (Water under the bridge)

Chad, this is Dustin. Mike is doing service work somewhere in Utah. I'm staying at his house for a while and I am using his computer.

Just thought I'd say hello, my way.

Mike did have an issue with Vantage and had to call Ebonite to take care of it.

Take it easy.

Please leave me out of your water under the bridge.

I am a field technician. Thanks for the advise.

I gave him the size of the screw, and the head style does make a difference in this application.

No apologies necessary, but I would like you to just quit it.
