    Re: 82-70XL

If you don't have the techs to manage your 70's then it is great. Brand new electrical system and motors.

I just did some service work behind those installers. Hide the grease gun. They absolutely packed the table drives. I could choke them.

If you had twin solenoids they throw on a single solenoid conversion and it is a terrible design. I could have done better ins my sleep.

They put grease on those too, wipe it off!

    Great upgrade though.
Pinspotters do not break down when they are not running!

thanks for the reply we have 2 techs which is more than enough for us but we had been looking into some options to get our machines to run a little more trouble free.

        Re: 82-70XL

Mechanic 82/30 has had the upgrade for a few years. He swears by it.

We decided that PBL’s are more important than the upgrade. Our machines are very sound electrically & it’s much less of a hit to the bottom line to replace motors as they die rather than replace them all at once. I wouldn’t mind having those new BE motors tho.
