Ok so I bought a couple of expander cards and already installed in the chassis. Now the fun part. My sweep motor plug is not wired into the terminal strips as the manual for the omega tek boards shows it should be.
Apparently my sweep has been rewired to fit a quality start swith thus the wiring has been changed. I didn't do this work so i don't know where my wires are supposed to be.
anyways here is how my sweep motor plug (smp) is wired.
Y ---> wired into TSA-3 ====> jumped to sweep reverse switch (B.E. control box)
Z ---> TS 23 ===> CSM 1 (capacitor)
X ---> TS 7 ===> C1-27-FF
Central Terminal ---> TSA 4 ===> sweep reverse switch
ok my head is filled with schematics. All of which don't match up. I've made mapped out what I have currently so I'm going to just jump in and try using the schematic from the amf pinspotter operation (electrical) manual. Kinda concerned with the electric start switch mod though. It has another schematic on how to restore sweep reverse which still doesn't match up with what I have. I have sweep reverse on my BE control box that works but isn't wired up according to the quality schematic.
We'll see what happens I guess. Only way to learn is to try.
I'm scratching my head raw on this one. I've rewired my sweep configuration 3 times now. I end up with one wire that is attached to T 1a1 which ends up not being attached to anything. It came from the c1 plug not sure which position. Don't have the schematic in front of me. Anyways I end up having no power to my sweep. Not sure whats going on. Any guesses?
This isn't supposed to be that difficult is it? If I route my sweep motor plugs per the schematic I end up having a wire running from csm 1 to TS 23 with no other wires attached...where's that wire supposed to go? my smp Z wire was also on TS 23. I've given up for now. I'm mapping out all my wires in my wireway. Starting with the C1 plug. So far only one of my wires coming from c1 plug is in the correct spot. I have SS chassis, is this the reason? I'm clueless when it comes to this wiring business but I do know that things are not wired to schematics, which is driving me up the wall.
I installed most of the Expanders at the Reno Hilton. We had the same problem you’re having & for the same reason. Then I made an installation manual & never had another problem. I’m e-mailing you the manual.
It includes instructions for wiring the data cable thru the mask plug. It’s a little more work but the install turns out neater & makes changing the chassis easier.

Yesterday I was looking at the big drawing and I did draw the sweep circuit only for fun, a cat was the result...can you make it virtual??
k im wingin it, reguardless of sweep reverse wiring techniques, TSA2 & 3 wires go to chassis. lower wires from chassis go to TSA2&3 all is happy, but then, that was 3 years ago now

Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
Working...
