Re: MP chasis
I have to agree with King. Probably because I've had 2 of them literally blow up on me for no apparent reason & was never able to fix them. I can fix the SS chassis. I guess the MP just intimidates me because it's different than what I'm used to.

Re: MP chasis
Hey, now...MP chassis are my buddies...some of them even give you 1/4" more wire than S/S chassis to change the C2A block... I've had enough of hope & chains.

Re: MP chasis
Right ON Jez! The S/S chassis is a pain in the butt. What the Heck was AMF thinking mounting a 5 lb. transformer on it's SIDE? Not to mention a chassis that can supply anywhere from 9 to 18 volts to the masking unit...

We've had to send out 4 chassis for repairs that had problems (like a bad T1) that we didn't want to tackle... out of 35 chassis over more than 40+ years, that isn't such a bad track record at all. Time has yet to tell if the MPs will have that kind of longevity. Gman...I wonder if he meant on the side of the chassis? Of course, I don't see the difference in that either... TSM & TSM Training Development
