• INTERLOCKING

I HAVE 82-70'S WITH 5-BOARD CHASSIS CONVERTED TO OMEGA-TECH. I HAVE ONE CHASSIS THAT KEEPS INTERLOCKING. I MOVED CHASSIS AND THE PROBLEM FOLLOWED THE CHASSIS. I THEN MOVED OMEGA-TECH BOARDS AND THE PROBLEM STAYED WITH CHASSIS. THE CHASSIS HAS NEW TABLE AND SWEEP CONTACTS. SO NOW I AM CONFUSED. THE C-1 PINS LOOK A LITTLE WORN BUT SEEM O.K. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

      Re: INTERLOCKING

THE SWEEP WILL BE BETWEEN THE 2 BACK ROW OF PINS AND THE TABLE WILL BE ABOUT 1/2 WAY DOWN. I THINK IT IS USUALY IN SECOND BALL NOT SURE ON THAT WILL CHECK TOMORROW.

        Re: INTERLOCKING

I had a similar problem once....found an almost invisable wire hair shorting out 2 contacts in the wireway....it turned out to be a piece of wire from my wheel on the grinder.

          Re: INTERLOCKING

Bamm, you will need to check the sweep contactor wires, make sure they arent burnt or broken, then check lower contactors, that is the sweep brake. Im sure it is one of the following. Good Luck

            Re: INTERLOCKING

I agree with Pinboy. Check the lower sweep contacts. They're usually the cause of I-locks that follow the chassis.

Also, rebuild that C-1. You'll save a lot of money on aspirin if you rebuild them any time they're even a little questionable. Use gold pins & sockets. The extra $ is worth it on the high voltage C-1. Newark stocks them.
