Have 82/70 chassis with plugin stepper relay, not sure what model this is called. Omega-Tek made a single board conversion for this chassis but, not sure if it is still available. My questions are,
1.does Omega-Tek still make the conversion kit?
2.If the kit is not available can a 5 board chassis be substituted, or would there need to be some wiring mods made to accomodate the 5 board chassis? Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx
Thanx for the quick reply 82/70 king, do you know where I can purchase one of the "B" chassis conversion kits? And/or do you know what wiring mods would be needed to install the SS Chassis?

Only wiring mods will be to replace the masking unit plug. SS chassis has a round plug. Everything else is the same. I spliced in the new plug leaving the old one there too. That way either chassis will work. Not a hard thing to do by any means.
If memory serves me right, Omega Tek is no longer selling the conversion for the B chassis directly. You can contact Jim Wentz at Hilltop Bowling in New Carlisle, Ohio at (937) 882-6605. I believe he is still either selling them on does the conversion for you. The demand was not up to snuff for Omega Tek to merit continuing the conversion. King, does that sound right to you? Can somebody give an explaniton how pins 2, 3, 6 are supposed to be connected. I had a shortcircuit there for the drive motor connection because of water leakage.
I have a distributor that is pulling the belt hard to the left in the nine pin position (and possibly 6 pin), but seems fine in the other spots. As you can see the residue and...
I have several Pin Elevators that I believe to be out of round on my XLi's and was curious if anyone has ever run across this before and is so, what you did about it.
