I have had these ball stops fail at the hinge prematurely. Some of these only last days. Have they changed the urethane formula? Does anyone know who makes a long lasting ball stop?

Can somebody give an explaniton how pins 2, 3, 6 are supposed to be connected. I had a shortcircuit there for the drive motor connection because of water leakage.
