Re: AMF PROFILE BALL RETURNS

Are you by chance refering to the c-90's?? or has AMF came out with another type?? (I havent been keeping track) We had to do it in Utah, and yes, it was a pain in the butt...I dont envy you....my advice...pay the extra $$ and let AMF do it...(they will actualy hire local talent) THen if there is any problem....ball damage...etc....they are responsible...in past experience, it is well worth it.

The profile is the 15 ball rack. Typically involves making cover for old trap door, cutting new trap door, moving the powerlift (drilling new holes in concrete ... oh JOY!!)

After doing this job once, I'm convinced that the next time a job like this comes up, I'll pay whatever amount of money the resurfacers want, they don't reallly mind dirty or hard jobs (like moving powerlifts)

Surepiks or C90's?? Like it matters. I had both of them. They both gave me indigestion. The C90's were a dream come true..... for about two weeks. When the fires started, and the shimming and the re-squaring.....blah blah. Good luck, buddy.

In the process of putting in C-90's now. Yes, it's a pain but it's better than chasing constant undergrounds on the Magic Circles.

Had Profile lifts put in last year by a man called lourie AKA maister member 3539 ( i told him about this great web site!) He is in my book the AMF KING/GOD! Anyway it was the best thing we ever did, we dont get undergronds anymore and they look good!. I do have one problem with them, The 10th fame buttons always come loose due to the viberation of balls on the rack (we dont have triggers!!!). I would pay the extra and have them put in by AMF or someone.

                PJ,

I think I'll stay away from where this could end up going. It's just nice to know you're thinking about my 10'er
