  • Franklin Motor Rotor fix

Problem: Balancing weights coming off and destroying the winding. Get some plumber's epoxy (similar to JB weld only it's solid). Mix between fingers and thumb then smash it around the weight. Clean the excess as it dries in about 10 minutes and it is as hard as steel. That't what we are doing to avoid more ruined windings.

    Re: Franklin Motor Rotor fix

Good idea but if you're not applying the same amount to the opposite side of the rotor you're throwing it off balance. You might as well be removing the weights in the 1st place.

If you remove the excess there will only be a small hair line amount in the crevice between the weight and the rotor.
