• sweep w/not cycle

Have a problem with 82-70, with single board XOP chassis and Qubica Scoring. The problem started BE coming on but sweep would not work. Checked cam switches and they are good, looked at wiring at the master switch box and all seems good, swapped chassis with another machine and the chassis works great on the other machine and the original machine still has the same problem. after the chassis swap the machine statred to cycle all by itsself and would not stop. almost as soon as it started to non-stop cycle it stoped and now the sweep will do nothing!!!! Any suggestions???

Did you check the sweep motor reset? Check the plug to the motor also.
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I was ever was. http://www.bowltech.com/forums/impor...2012/smile.gif

Check the sweep in the zero position and see if it's make'en that switch.

The sweep will not run if the sweep is not high enough to make this switch.

You can tie the two wires together to bypass the switch.

Also, might give you a cushion sw failure..

Almost sounds like it is in Instruct-o-mat....Do you have front end Toggle switches (for the desk to turn on the lane before the scoring did it)?? If so, go look to see if it is in the down position, that is shadow bowling. (No cycle, but BE operates)

Re: sweep w/not cycle

found the problem, 2 pins on one of the plugs going to the chassis were pushed back into the plug just far enough not to make contact
