Re: What is the BEST kicker wheel available?

Ed Fox has a good one. Vantage makes several. For me it was trial and error. I tried a million until I found one that works for me.

I have also done many other things like raise the bounce plate as high as I could tried many different bumpers, different starter pads ext. Having the kicker assy connected to a chain really helps too. We have 10 lanes all have kickers 8 never have a problem then there is our last pair ..,.......

If my back ends are far enough apart (spec distance) Ed Fox's have been my choice.

          For me... Murrey... Hands down.

Call Murrey & ask for Bill. He might even send a free sample. Wait until Thursday or Friday to call tho. He's here in Reno for the Western Trade Show.

No opinion on Ed's kickers. Haven't tried them. Have heard good things tho.

Murrey or Ed Fox, both have a great kicker wheel.

Re: What is the BEST kicker wheel available?

When I had kickers there was never one wheel that would work on all machines. The one wheel that worked in most of the house was Vantage full contact. There were a few machines that only the Murrey tans worked but wouldn’t work anywhere else and visa versa (go figure). There was also a couple of machines that only the brown headways would work, but they also wouldn’t work anywhere else. So glad I converted to PBL’s…No more problems anywhere.

I know they have a couple of PBL conversion kits, but lack of "interest" has 'em sitting in the back room...

The best kicker available ?? Seems like a contradiction in terms but I would say that the best one is one that is not being used!!
