finally installed my first pair of bowl-tronics, circuit board style relays for sweep and table. looks very sharp with lights, push buttons and all.
king, i remember you saying you have a house full of them, how long have they lasted? any quirks other than the table capacitors exploding on a certain lane?
anyone else with insight or general comments about them? and since siemen relays are now $125 a pop, cant beat the price of these.
I absolutly love them... Started installing the first in vermont about 1 and half years ago, and as far as I know, they have had no problems with them. (would have gotten a call if they had) and we are in the process of putting them in here in reno.
Coors, I’ve been using them for over 6 years and swear by them. Out of the 100 or so sets that I have installed I’m only aware of one issue with them and I believe that the issue was created by another problem with the pinsetter.
I do need to question though...are you paying 125.00 a piece or for the set? If you’re paying that per contactor you need to give me a call.

I've been using BT relays in one of my machines now for 6 yrs, and I've had no problems with it. Just off hand about 16 of my chassis are running with them. If an issue comes up and I've had two relays coast due to a bad triac, I just take it back to BT, luckly only a half an hour away from my center, and Rick fixes it under warrenty and I'm out in 15 min. I've also taken one of their 82-30 contactors and put it in as a BE replacement relay, with no problems. All in all BT products and their service is top notch. As we loose more AB contacts, they will be replaced with BT. Their cost is about the same as a complete set of those cheap AB replacement ones.
Can somebody give an explaniton how pins 2, 3, 6 are supposed to be connected. I had a shortcircuit there for the drive motor connection because of water leakage.
I have a distributor that is pulling the belt hard to the left in the nine pin position (and possibly 6 pin), but seems fine in the other spots. As you can see the residue and...
I have several Pin Elevators that I believe to be out of round on my XLi's and was curious if anyone has ever run across this before and is so, what you did about it.
I'm...
