Re: 82-70 continous cycle (non-stop)

If it didn't move with the chassis, all it tells you is that it's in the machine wiring.

Causes of continuous:

Stuck or broken cycle switch on the cushion

Stuck/shorted cycle switch on the backend control panel

Stuck/shorted 10th frame switch on the ball return up front

A short or wire off & grounding on any of these devices.

If you still use cushion cycle switches, look there first... that is the most common one. Make sure that the little spring that holds the plate against the switch hasn't come off. Easy way to check it is to pull a wire off the switch. If the machine stops cycling, there's your problem.

nice post GMan143.if this problem returns disconnect the wires in the box on the wall adjacent to the two machines. This is called the A & MC box and in it you will see 8 terminals for each machine. Pull out the wires going to 1 and 2 on the problem side, but do not allow them to touch each other. If the machine stops cycleing the problem is from the top end ball return to the box. if the machine continues to cycle it is a short on the machine.,somewhere in your start switch area.
Good luck from Scotland
