  • masking unit lights

    I have a chassis that has no masking unit lights.
    I moved chassis problem stayed with chassis. I moved omega tech boards and problem stayed with chassis. I changed c-1 pins no help. I moved fuses no help. any help???

    Check for a busted common (ground) wire on your PM plug on the side of the chassis. If that checks out okay, check for continuity on the Pin Lamp Kilxon (OLL).

      EDITED...I read the post wrong thinking you were talking about the halo light.

      I'd start with Kats suggestion.

        check that the plug/socket pins are in the correct place, especially the common, in the plug between mask and chassis

          Listen to the kitty....if it's an elco type chassis, look over the PM plug for broken or wireded out pins... :p

                  If this is a SS chassis and has no pin lites or 1st and 2nd ball lites I would look for a bad klixon or a loose piece of metal shorting out against the heatsink.
