  • kidney question

After playing with the newest kidney mod I noticed not all my kidneys are the same distance from the pinwheel. Anyone know the proper distance?

I've checked the ring tube rollers. They look ok. I even replaced the uh? "stick with the 2 bin bumpers behind the kidney" with a new one.

Anyone got virgin machines they could measure?

Start with the kidney at the lowest setting to allow slowest transfer and adjust the height and travel so you do not get head 1st pins.

Are you speaking of the spacing between the kidney and the elevator wheel front to rear?
      Please.....follow the instructions!!

        yes front to rear.

On some machines they are almost rubbing the pinwheel. Some others I can get a finger behind the kidney.

Interlock' the kidey should not touch the pinwheel. There is aarm behind the kidney pan and it kinda varies in my center. Make sure there is the rubber bumper in that arm if you take off you'll see it if it is there or if it is missing you'll see where it goes. That could be where the diffrence is.

            Re: kidney question

On my machines,to get the pin rail away from the wheel and stop it from floping around I take out the small rubber bumper, behind the rail, and replace it with a larger one, from a kicker lift small filler plate. It's the one that the kicker towers rest up against. Also, sometimes the metal bracket that the bumper is attached to gets bent and might need a little tweeking.

3/16 is a good figure. Just get a pry bar and stick it behind kidney and bend bracket.

If you have too much space it will cut the pins.
