• Omega Tek #3 Jumper Board

I got tired of my pinnies removing and losing my jumper cards for my omega teks and soldered jumper wires on my mother boards on all my chassis. Noted that newer omega teks have a couple of new jumpers on #3 bd but I noted that they don't do anything and works without them.

The jumper for use with the expanders supplies +12VDC to the jumper card.
I've had enough of hope & chains.

wb8 is right... the #3 card with the wire jumper IS needed when using an expander card, and IS NOT needed when only using the MK70 board (just the standard #3 jumper is all that's required).. however, it doesn't hurt to have the 'jumpered' #3 card in with only th MK70... so you may as well set up all your chassis for it... it eliminates confusion.

You can make the jumper cards that came with your MK70 boards into spare MK70EX jumper cards... just solder the wiring on to them & attach a connector.

Soldering the motherboard is only to be done when you are never going back or no longer use 5-boards... once it's soldered, you can never use a 5-board set again (but then again, I don't know why you'd want to anyway.) Works good for damaged #3 slots, too.

Rake sweeping out of time, and pin launching onto lane.

I work on some nice old Brunswick A-2 pin setters. Most issues I've come across haven't been to problematic to figure out. But being I can't seem to get it to recreate the issue...
