    Re: XLI electrical question

Not for sure, but probably the same as the 30s. I guess you are asking if you should upgrade your electrical panel or breakers?

      Re: XLI electrical question

No, the 30's are 110v and the XLI's are 208, I am putting in a new panel anyway as I can isolate it easier. My electrician just wanted to know what each machine would draw as I have no specs on what they do.

      thanks

        Re: XLI electrical question

        Call Walter Powers 804-730-4000.

You will need a circuit for each pinspotter and a circuit for the logic.
        Please.....follow the instructions!!

            Re: XLI electrical question

Well i cant see too much of a problem guessing, our 30's have 230V going into the chassis this is all via a plug so the current draw on a 30 cannot be more than 13 amps or the plug fuse would always blow, i would guess it to be alot less really.

On the chassis for the 82/70 xli, does it not state the power requirments in watts or a current in amps on a metal badge on the side???

              Re: XLI electrical question

              Drill,
For the XLi you will need a 220v 15amp circuit for each pinspotter and a 220v 15 amp circuit for the logic power (chassis). One circuit for every 8 pairs of pinspotters.
              Hope this helps.

Sorry, I had no idea the XLis ran on 220v. Learning something everyday, LOL.

                    Re: XLI electrical question

Nothing to be sorry about Tony, I looked at every good brand out there and everything runs off 220 so it was just a matter of the amp draw.
