    hi all,
    i posted this question a while back,but,does anyone know where i could get a few 82/90 1st generation chassis from,they are the ones with the LCD screen.

    I think there may be a few at AMF Hemel but it may be worth while changing to the later ones.There is a conversion kit but i do not know the cost.The office should be able to help you.

      ive tried amf,they said that the chassis are not repairable or fixable,in fact i was told as rare as rocking horse s***t!!!!

        Not so true - evertonic. We have repaired some. Sometimes it's a simple problem, others it's more difficult. Most components can be replaced. It's knowing which ones need it. We have learned about some of them through trial and error.
        Others, it seems the software won't work with a certain chassis, when it should.
        Too bad the manufacturer cannot support the product they sold. But they went through some transitions that most don't have to. The knowledge is there - albiet burried in some archive.
        It's just not in a tech support's caller flow chart.
