  • leak under pin wheel

    my lane 8 machine is leaking some sort of oil or grease under the pin wheel... does anyone know what it might be, and how I would fix it??

    BE gearbox oil.

      BE Gearbox or ring tube oil.

        There you go. Those are the only 2 possible sorces. If you over filled the ring oiler you will have this. Back end gear box leaking is the other possible sorce. Easy enough to find out. Look in the tray under the back end motor. Is it full of oil ?

          The pinwheel is coated with a tar like noise dampening material. If it was cleaned with some sort of solvent cleaner, it could cause it to soften and drip onto the floor.
          Yeah but, We've always done it that way.
