Did you just install the MP's?

    The wires should be there.

yea , just installed them , replacing the ss ones

these machines are older and do not have the 4 white wires for sweep reverse, these only have 3 white.

I still use an AMF drawing from 1962 without problems.

Like King said, wires should be there. Do the C1 plu/receptacles have any orphaned pins? If so, I would check there. Otherwise, I would be looking at the M2 relay. This is your SWSR relay for pickoff. Also bear in mind that ALL 3 ice cube relays are now 24 VAC whereas the SS units had 2 of them and the Spot relay was 10 VDC.

Do you have a 5500 drawing? They will give you the breakdown of what should be there.

Sweep reverse requires the four wires into the C1 plug and connected to the sweep motor cables in the wireway i will try to find my drawings next time i am home.if they are wrongly installed sweep motor will buzz and klixon will trip. There is also the scoring cable to the rear control box which i presume has been installed correctly.red and Black pair to cycle switch and white to sweep switch and black of this pair to ground.
