41 and 42 have intermittent problems. The lane is turned on at the desk system and the monitors come on. You enter the name and hit done to start bowling but the machine sometimes doesn't start. It's been on and off for awhile. You can start the machine from the back, or hit the shadow-bowl switch at the desk and it will bowl normal. You can hit the shadow bowl switch to start it then turn it off and it will bowl normal. Just having trouble getting it to turn on from computer. Any ideas? Both lanes have been doing this for a few weeks now...sometimes never, sometimes all day
Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? Apparently 'Friggin long ones!" is the wrong answer.

That's why you should never mix A and B stuff... they bicker.

Re: 8270-frameworks miscommunication

If it scores fine when you turn it on from the back or the desk, it seems as though the FX scorer for that pair thinks it has turned the lanes on, because if the scorer thinks it has not turned the lanes on, even if you turn them on manually, they will not score. So, look at the wires ( where they connect in your A&MC box ) that come from the FX scorer and are probably wire nutted or the like and go to terminal 5 & 6. Make sure they have good connections.

Also, if that is not it, move your AMF Interface board to another pair.

Also, try moving the hard drive to another pair.

Good Luck...let us know what happens.
