  • Mini PBL slipping mousetrap pully

I see a developing problem with my mini PBL’s. The small pulley on the mouse trap is slipping on the belt. When this slips the paddle stops causing some ball calls. I am thinking I cannot be the only person this has happed to. What do you guys do when you see this.

One of the lanes the belt rides on the knuckle that secures the mouse trap. The other on clears this knuckle.

Let me know your thoughts. I am thinking a different style of belt will help.

I too had the belt slipping problem. What I did was add another spring to give more tension. The second spring is attatched somewhere foward of the original spring, making the tensioner pull straight up which puts more even pressure on the belts.

Run a chain over the lower ball lift shaft.

Attach it to a kicker spring attaches to the upper segment of the mousetrap.

      This will allow more tension.

You will need to install the wider bronze bushing in the mouse trap or you will wear through the bushing.

Could also be the adjustment on your rudder link.

...you can also use a brunswick adjustable "long turret belt" spring....this can reach from mousetrap to upper brace, and is adjustable.I will try to post a pic.....
