  • Paddle Pulley Problem

On lanes 1+2 the paddle pulley belt keeps falling off the pulley. the pulleys are both in line and the belt is not worn or stretched. What could be the problem? When this happens the balls will not be kicked back up the pbl causing ball and pin jams in the pit carpet area. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Re: Paddle Pulley Problem

Oil on the belt from a leaking BE gearbox or a warped rudder pulley. Make sure the correct belt is being used. (Industry #1380).

      Re: Paddle Pulley Problem

Sometimes no matter what they will just come off I had a couple of lanes that would do that. What I did on the tensioner assembly is take a srewdriver and widen the big pully to make the belt fit in the pulley better. I usually bend the pulley until the belt and pulley are level with each other.
There is always more to life, but would someone tell me what it is!

With the pit running lift up on the Ball Lift and shake it around. If the belt jumps off you need to look into rebuilding the Lift(assuming its not fastened to the kickbacks).

          Re: Paddle Pulley Problem

There is no oil on the belt or pulley, and theres no leaking gearbox. It sounds like what you said Jimmy Jam so i'll give the two solutions a try. Cheers lads I'll let you know what the problem was!
