    OK WE HAD A BROKEN STABILIZING LINK FOR THE SWEEP AND WE WENT A REPLACED IT AND PUT EVERYTHING BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS..AND NOW OUR SWEEP SHAKES REALLY BAD WHEN IT TRAVELS TO THE BACK OF THE DECK AND SPUTTERS HORRIBLY WHEN IT FOWRDS BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE DECK

    Try the sweep drive link on the sweep shaft. this is the arm that drives the whole sweep assembly . what happens is the hole the in the link gets opend up ususaly from a bolt being a little loose and you get what you are describing that could have also contributed to the stabilizer link getting broke.
    They say that the **** rolls down hill but the smell always starts at the top.

      Your Sweep may be running too far into the pit. This will make them run rough out to the front.

        That would be the link is to long.If so shorten it and that could also break the stabilizer link.

          Sticky rubber bumpers will contribute too, but it will be a single jump as the rubber comes off the arm.

            All I want in life is to turn wrenches and climb around pinsetters/pinspotters again :/

            I work on some nice old Brunswick A-2 pin setters. Most issues I've come across haven't been to problematic to figure out. But being I can't seem to get it to recreate the issue...
