  • Want to remove "my emm.... brain" !! Strip it out

Am looking into upgrading my Profile ball return 10th frame buttons.

Currently we have the membrane strips which do not work worth a nothing. Refusing to purchase any more of them off of AMF for £76 minus VAT.

Have heard on Bowl-tech that AMF have changed the design of them last year back to a push button.
Does anyone have a part number / numbers for these buttons so I could replace out the entire lot?

We do rely on the tenth frame button due to the fact we still use the Start switch predomonantly through out the centre and open play features a big percentage of our custom.

Do you think that this is possible for starters? did AMF re-design the hand dryier section of the Profile ball return altogether to accommodate the new style button??

PS. Did ya get the topic title now?? Sorry. Rubbish I know.

Any mechanical pushbutton will do so long as it fits in the cover plate ass'y. I would try and buy them locally as this would be alot cheaper than ordering thru the OEM.

The numbers you are looking for are

      252-001-096 Black Push Button
      252-001-097 Blue Push Button

We had to convert all of ours after installation because every single one of the strips were faulty. They sent us out the replacement buttons free of charge. Hope that helps ya.

Well looked at the prices for the buttons and the Kit. Not cheap.

Have taken the PBC (single pole, push button switch) and replaced it with the membrane button. Mounted it on the brass/metal bracket and ran wires through the mid section pipes of the ball return.
These switches are cheap, and work very well.
Will consider to re-do the whole centre with these switches.
